Responsibilities • Manage the company's day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable. • Prepare and process invoices, payments, and bank reconciliations. • Maintain accurate general ledger records and perform month-end and year-end closing activities. • Prepare financial statements and reports for management and clients. • Monitor cash flow and manage budgeting and forecasting processes. • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in the preparation of tax returns. • Conduct regular internal audits to identify and resolve any financial discrepancies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. • Proven work experience as an Accountant or Bookkeeper with a Canadian client. • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and regulations. • Proficiency in using accounting software, such as QuickBooks etc. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with numbers. • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
