Requirements

• An effective and highly technical people manager to a team of high-performing engineers • Proven past work experience in web application development specifically using the JavaScript stack (React/Node) with 3-4 years of technical expertise handling medium to large-scale 3-tier applications • 3-4 years of experience in managing software engineering teams preferably with Agile SCRUM methodologies (having at least 2 years of experience in Agile) • Experience in translating technical concepts into language for audiences, including software engineers, and business and technical leaders. • Experience in building and managing software engineering teams in a startup environment • Good organizational skills for keeping track of various budgets, employees, and schedules simultaneously • Good analytical skills for evaluating information carefully and solving complex problems • Good communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills for overseeing staff and working with other management personnel • Advocates on behalf of team members in multiple ways including securing adequate resources for success • Experience in recruiting engineering talent (preferred)
