• Reddit is a community of communities. It’s built on shared interests, passion, and trust and is home to the most open and authentic conversations on the internet. • The Ads Safety and Verification team is responsible for Ad Review, Ad Brand Safety, and third-party measurement systems at Reddit. • We ensure that ads shown on Reddit comply with policies and prioritize consumer safety. • Our team also ensures that the content neighboring the ads is brand safe by leveraging both internal and external systems. • Additionally, we ensure there is third-party measurability for view-ability and safety. • Collaboration with internal and external classification systems is key as we build the right systems to scale. • We are seeking an Engineering Manager to build and enhance Reddit's Ad Review, Brand Safety, and Measurement systems.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience leading engineering teams • 5+ years of experience as a software engineer • Experience building reliable systems that scale • Leadership experience with working across other teams to achieve success • You're technical, enough to solve almost any problem your team has yourself, but you prefer to guide your team into solving them • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. You must be able to collaborate effectively with teams in a fully-remote environment and discuss complex topics with technical and non-technical audiences • Strong leadership skills and ability to foster team culture
