📋 Description

• Review and quality control residential real estate appraisals and underwrite mortgage lending collateral. • Perform Reviews of Loan Origination appraisals. • Validate valuation techniques, supporting data and conclusions. • Underwrite collateral in loan origination process. • Communicate review results in a timely and professional manner. • Communicate asset-level quality control issues to Valuations Team Lead and/or Manager. • Assist other teams in the Underwriting group as needed. • Any other job responsibilities requested by management.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or work experience equivalency in Real Estate, Management, Business, or Finance. • 6 years in valuation, including minimum 2 years field experience appraising residential properties. • 2 years’ experience in reviewing appraisals. • National / Institution review experience preferred. • Actively Licensed or Certified Real Estate Appraiser. • Strong analytical and written communication skills • Effective time management and organizational skills • Attention to detail • Complete knowledge and understanding of the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice • Complete knowledge and understanding of agency guidelines and requirements including Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, VA • Knowledge of market theory • Understanding of real estate valuation techniques
