📋 Description
• The Workers Compensation Recovery Analyst will assess potential liens and coordinate reimbursement from various parties (health care providers, workers compensation insurance carriers, attorneys) on behalf of health insurance plans. • Actively working on an inventory of cases involving health plan reimbursement from various parties. • Making outbound calls and communicating with health care providers, insurance adjusters, attorneys, and health plan members. • Responding to and submitting requests for information and documentation relating to healthcare recovery rights. • Applying in-depth knowledge of applicable state and federal laws related to healthcare recovery rights. • Negotiating resolution of health plan reimbursement rights using training and guidelines.
🎯 Requirements
• Be comfortable with a heavy amount of professional, unscripted, outbound/inbound phone communications. • Experience negotiating and making quick decisions. • Be able to work well under pressure and in a fast paced, high-volume environment. • Possess great prioritization and multi-tasking skills while paying high attention to detail. • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal certification/studies preferred, not required. • Experience with subrogation/lien resolution desired, not required. • Ability to type 35 WPM.
