Description

• Must have demonstrable leadership skills, building and managing development teams • Responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation and maintenance of services and system software and related infrastructure • Ensure systems, operating systems, software systems and related procedures adhere to organizational values • Manage/maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline our development processes • Investigate and resolve technical issues and provide escalated technical support • Build tools to reduce the occurrences of errors and improve the customer experience • Perform root cause analysis for production errors • Develop scripts to automate visualization • Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance • Design and implement appropriate levels of security within the systems • Document processes, systems, and procedures in detail

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field or equivalent work experience • 5+ years of experience with managing large-scale Kubernetes clusters • Strong experience with open source metrics and monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, AlertManager • Strong experience with GitOps procedures and workflows using either Flux or ArgoCD • Strong Terraform skills • Strong knowledge of Cloud Platforms with an emphasis on AWS and EKS • Kubernetes tooling: Kubectl, Kustomize, YAML, Helm Charts • Experience with maintaining Linux or Unix based systems • Knowledge of Source Code Management (Version Control System) tools like Git • Experience with automation/ integration tools like GitHub Actions • Strong Knowledge of software containerization platforms like Docker • Experience in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, Golang • Experience in Linux distributions, Ubuntu/CentOS • Experience in database administration such as Postgres, Neo4j or other relational and NoSQL databases • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as in a team environment • Ability to develop continuous Integration/ Delivery pipelines • Knowledge of Networking: SDN, Switching, Routing, firewalls • Maintaining Payment Card Industry Digital Security Standard (PCI-DSS) compliance
