• Support the Regional Sales team in reaching sales goals through pre-sales support. • Design holistic enterprise solutions balancing client changes for value. • Collaborate with sales team for technical leadership in the opportunity process. • Act as technical resource at trade shows and conferences. • Strategize with sales for activation and achieving market goals. • Develop impactful relationships with clients built on value and trust. • Stay updated on cybersecurity news and trends. • Learn new products and complete certifications. • Public speaking as a subject matter expert.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. • 7+ years of experience in pre-sales consulting; • 5+ years as a sales engineer in network or security. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Advanced knowledge and understanding of modern cyber threats. • Advanced knowledge in at least four areas: SIEM, endpoint protection platforms, threat detection/prevention, cloud security technologies, identity and access management solutions. • Ability to recommend strategic security solutions. • Expert knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, SSL, Web Applications, Load balancers, proxies and firewalls. • Background in writing scripts (Perl/shell/Python) and/or SQL queries. • Splunk Enterprise Certified Architect. • Optimism; belief in creativity and technology. • Open-mindedness; respect for diverse views. • Passion for learning; continuous improvement. • Ability to travel up to 20%.
