Description

• Develop functional safety for autonomous driving platforms • Lead efforts on safety architecture and requirements • Collaborate with safety engineers and customers on safety requirements • Analyze and refine safety architecture throughout development process • Identify opportunities for automation to improve efficiency

Requirements

• BS, MS or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience • 5+ years (or equivalent) experience in systems architecture or related fields • Experience working across company boundaries as development partners • Experience in safety analysis of embedded systems at the Hardware and Software Level • Systems engineering methodologies such as model-based approaches, requirements management, peer review processes, risk management, requirements verification and traceability, validation and verification, and architectural decomposition • SW & HW architecture of embedded computing systems and/or sensing subsystems architecture and interfacing • Safety standards (ISO 26262, IEC 61508, ISO/PAS 21448) • Code review and comprehension and experience in performing software safety analysis (e.g FMEA)
