• Lead the Hospitality and Experiential team within the Global Partnerships Division of OVG. • Create a world-class hospitality and experiential practice focused on consumer/B2B brands. • Manage existing client work across US Based and global events. • Support hospitality and experiential requests across Global Partnerships sales team. • Oversee all facets of programs including budget, accommodations, F&B, security, transportation etc. • Manage multi-million dollar budgets with fluency in both macro and specifics. • Build and manage a team of diverse professionals focused on delivering for clients. • Collaborate across OVG divisions and with external partners to ensure execution of programs. • Retain existing clients and secure new clients through proactive outreach.
• Undergraduate and/or graduate degree • Master’s degree/MBA preferred • Minimum of 10 years’ experience with demonstrated development, management and execution skills in hospitality, events, and or experiential marketing ideally within the sports & entertainment industry, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. • Knowledge of and ability to apply basic marketing concepts (e.g., brand positioning, SWOT analysis, competitive assessment, marketing objectives/strategies, category analysis, etc.) to the hospitality, event, and/or experiential marketing space. • Experience working in global events, internationally, including strong relationships and experience working with brands, properties, leagues, media rights holders and domestic and international organizing committees. • A natural curiosity about technology as well as a creative and risk-taking mentality. • Creative problem solver with the ability to quickly understand brands/partners’ business models and research solutions for how to grow their business. • Highly driven self-starter, with ability to work independently without supervision. • Ability to manage long-term projects as well as quick turnaround assignments. • Strong management and leadership skills with desire to develop and manage junior talent/staff. • Focused, diligent and hard-working; ambitious and Strong interpersonal Trustworthy, loyal and ethical. • Curious by Nature Values the “How” as much as the “What” • Willingness to work the hours required to fulfill the commitments of the role. • A lifelong passion for winning supported by an exceptional track record of results. • Strong references across multiple sectors of the sports and entertainment industry.
