• Objectstream is an award-winning small business in IT, management consulting, and logistics. • Seeking a highly skilled Senior Database Administrator for our IT team. • Play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our infrastructure. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support technical needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, math, or science degree is required (or equivalent experience). • 15 years of proven experience as an Oracle Database Administrator for enterprise-wide systems. • Demonstrate significant experience in Linux and Windows Administration, including best practices, CLI, and GUIs. • Extensive experience with Database Monitoring (log review, performance analysis and reporting, data loading and extraction). • Extensive experience with Database Maintenance (back-up, upgrades, updates, patching, installation). • Familiarity with complex Linux/Windows environments and related protocols (HTTP/FTP/SCP/NFS, etc). • Experience with Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, Project, Visio. • Experience supporting web applications and environments, including Nginx and NodeJS. • Experience with VMWare and virtualized environments. • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex database issues. • Excellent organizational, verbal/written communication, and presentation skills are a must. • Must be a US Citizen able to obtain a security clearance.
