As a Marketing Manager - Content, Blog and SEO, you’ll play a key part in our demand generation strategy. You will own strategy for Okendo’s blog, making sure we are publishing quality and meaningful content that is well-positioned to the right audience. • How you'll create impact: • Product Expertise: Develop and maintain strong expertise of the e-commerce industry, the Shopify landscape and Okendo’s products. • Content Strategy and Roadmap: Own and iterate on Okendo’s content strategy. You will ensure that content aligns with business objectives at each stage of the customer journey. • Own the Blog: Own the blog strategy. Regularly audit pages for keyword ranking. Collaborate with internal teams to align strategy. Product briefs and write content. • Develop first-rate content: We believe that quality content is created by people who understand our company and products. You will write content for the company. This can include but is not limited to blogs, long-forms, newsletters, partner co-marketing pages, social media scripts, and case studies. You will make sure anyone producing content for the company is well-trained to produce quality. • Collaborate internally: Work close with counterparts across the company to ensure that content accurately blends the needs of customers and prospects with company goals. • SEO Strategy: Participate in an internal SEO committee. Review the domain to ensure that each page is properly setup for its intended purpose. Develop SEO-driven content briefs and ensure they are delivered.

🎯 Requirements

• You have 5+ years of producing elegant, engaging written and/or video content and can provide samples. • Experience with SEO-focused writing and page rank. • Previous experience with SaaS is a must. Shopify experience is highly desirable. • Prior experience working with AI to optimize the content production process is a plus. • You have experience being customer-facing. • You have excellent English writing and communication skills. • You are seen as positive, energetic, and exude a strong sense of teamwork by working effectively, respectfully, and efficiently with all team members. • You have solid time-management skills with the ability to execute consistently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and carry out self-directed responsibilities. • You understand how content should support the buyer’s journey. • You think like a marketer and have the curiosity of a journalist.
