Description

• As Corporate Counsel at OM1, you’ll be an essential member of our legal team, providing strategic legal support across key business functions. • Your primary focus will be on drafting and negotiating agreements with life science customers, partners, and vendors, and supporting business development through scalable contract templates. • Additionally, you'll collaborate with various teams to ensure compliance and deliver training on contract management. • This role requires excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to manage complex legal matters in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree and a member of the Massachusetts State Bar • A minimum of 3-5 years of related legal life sciences experience in a fast paced, high tech environment working with life sciences companies, CROs, and clinical research sites • Strong knowledge of HIPAA privacy and security regulations • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Excellent negotiation skills • Excellent interpersonal skills • Ability to handle multiple projects or tasks while effectively prioritizing to meet deadlines in high volume and an ever changing fast-paced environment • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail • Strong time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent knowledge and understanding of corporate law and procedures • Demonstrated experience/maturity to handle confidential and sensitive information • Demonstrated experience with contract negotiations • Demonstrated experience using a contracts management system • Proficient with Microsoft Office and GSuite software
