📋 Description
• Consult with new and existing customers to understand surveillance requirements • Perform sophisticated analysis covering interpretive thinking to define problems • Produce clear and concise functional/technical requirement specifications • Walkthrough of requirement specifications to stakeholders • Perform hands-on analysis of customer data schema • Analyze huge data sets, create flow/UML diagrams • Partner with product managers/owners for industry/competitor research • Liaise with project managers for implementation complexity • Perform QA function on new surveillance implementations • Candidate must be willing to take advanced courses/certifications
🎯 Requirements
• 4-7 years experience as a Business Analyst or closely working with business in financial services/technology industry • In-depth knowledge of trading workflow and/or market microstructure • Demonstrable knowledge of compliance/surveillance functions • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Comfortable working with large time-series datasets • Hands-on knowledge of Python and SQL • Knowledge of Cloud technologies is a plus • Must be a self-starter comfortable working individually and in a team • Able to prioritize conflicting tasks • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience in a quantitative field
