📋 Description
• Assist healthcare providers with patient intake, insurance verification, scheduling, and prescription coordination • Handle incoming and outgoing calls with patients, providers, and pharmacies • Schedule patient appointments and confirm bookings • Manage prescription refills and coordinate with healthcare providers • Verify insurance coverage and process prior authorizations • Retrieve and review medical records for accuracy • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
🎯 Requirements
• Experience as a Medical Virtual Assistant, Medical Biller, or Insurance Coordinator • Knowledge of medical insurance verification, prior authorizations, and billing • Proficiency in Google Workspace, Slack, and AthenaOne EMR • Excellent phone etiquette and ability to handle high call volumes
