Description

• As a regional sales manager for independent manufacturer representatives, your primary responsibility is to oversee and manage the sales activities of manufacturer representatives within a specific geographical region • Develop sales plans and strategies for your region to achieve sales targets and objectives • Prepare and conduct joint sales calls as well as sales presentations to customers and prospects with the manufacturer representatives • Build and maintain relationships with key customers and partners in your region to identify business opportunities, foster loyalty, and promote the company's products or services • Track and analyze sales manufacturers’ performance metrics and KPIs to assess the effectiveness of sales strategies and tactics • Provide regular reports and updates to VP of Sales on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback as required • Ensure the manufacturers’ representatives comply with company policies, procedures, and legal requirements • Stay updated with product knowledge and industry trends to effectively promote and sell products or services • Collaborate with internal teams to develop new products and services that meet the needs of customers in the region • Participate in industry and prospect events to help support positive market awareness and increase sales

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering or related field required • Minimum of five years of sales experience in the electrical manufacturing industry required • Minimum of three years of experience managing a sales rep team required • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas required • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills required • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required • Three or more years of experience in utilizing sales CRMs required • Ability to work independently and remotely required • Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time required • Ability to pass physical, drug, driving, and background check required
