Description
• You will be the Leader of the Accounting team. • Implement and manage processes and resources, and lead annual audits. • Lead end-to-end annual financial statement audits. • Research and document appropriate US GAAP treatment for various business areas. • Supervise Accounting Operations including monthly financials and management reporting packages. • Manage Federal and State tax returns and other tax filings. • Identify and drive process improvements, and work on special projects as needed.
Requirements
• 8+ years of professional accounting experience. • CPA required, or a minimum of 5 years of CPA Audit firm experience. • Large Audit Firm experience strongly preferred. • Private accounting experience at a startup/high-growth company preferred. • Desire to work in a fast growing, sometimes unstructured environment. • Extremely high degree of ownership. • Self-starter with ability to work independently. • Excellent communication, both written and verbal. • Ability to problem solve and provide solutions on complex issues. • Ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner.
