• Manage core People Operations areas such as onboarding, payroll, document and contract creation, employee data management, and absence tracking. • Stay informed about new laws and trends in HR in Germany. • Coordinate ongoingly with external consultants, government offices, and service providers. • Work closely with the legal department to coordinate new policies and procedures. • Act as a contact person for Germany-based team members. • Manage employee departures, including preparing employee separation notices and related documentation. • Understand employee sentiment at our German entity. • Support our People Team in other entities (UK, Portugal, Switzerland, Singapore) as needed. • Initiate and deliver on exciting new People Operations projects. • Recommend process improvements and identify areas where we can automate tasks. • Support the management of our team’s Helpdesk. • Facilitate effective and positive resolution of employee issues. • Performs other duties as assigned.
• 3-5 Years experience in HR/People Operations in Germany. • Understanding of international human resources principles and practices (compensation, employment/labour law, tax and compliance, etc). • Excellent written, and verbal communication, and strong interpersonal skills. Fluent in German (C1). • Proven ability to handle multiple projects, prepare reports and meet deadlines. Good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions. • Creative, flexible, and innovative team player. • Capable of operating autonomously while dealing with a changing and restructuring environment. • Familiarity with HR tech stack - you can navigate through an HRIS and other platforms.
