Description

• As a Solutions Engineer, you will be a critical technical resource and partner to the sales team, helping to drive the entire sales cycle from discovery and qualification to closing. • You’ll work directly with potential customers to understand their manufacturing challenges, demonstrate how TrakSYS can meet their specific needs, and design tailored solutions that deliver measurable impact. • You’ll also provide technical expertise in crafting compelling demos, designing proof-of-concept (PoC) implementations, and ensuring technical feasibility.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and a deep understanding of the technology layers that support manufacturing, including PLC, SCADA, and ERP systems. • Proficiency in SQL and experience building complex queries to support demos and PoCs. • Proficiency in C# or another object-oriented programming language for customizing solutions and integrations. • Minimum of 3 years in a Sales Engineer role, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial software environment. • Proven track record of working collaboratively with sales teams to manage customer discovery, qualify opportunities, and successfully close deals. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on designing scalable and effective solutions that align with customer needs. • Familiarity with common manufacturing challenges, such as production optimization, quality management, inventory control, and equipment maintenance.
