• The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for development and growth of sales in K12 education. • Manage a team of 4 to 6 sales professionals to maximize sales revenue. • Develop strategic regional sales plans for growth. • Drive business development and sales growth for individual territories. • Recruit, retain, and nurture sales professionals. • Coach team members on sales strategy and career development. • Meet sales team regularly to discuss performance and industry trends. • Maintain strong understanding of Pearson’s products and services. • Collaborate with senior leaders to establish sales goals. • Contribute to building a positive team culture. • Serve as the voice of the customer to advise Product and Marketing. • Support team members in developing presentations to customers. • Contribute to winning proposals and sales forecasts. • Manage regional sales expenses and identify improvements.
• Bachelor’s degree in an education or business-related field. • 5+ years of enterprise sales experience, with a proven record of success. • 2+ years of leadership and/or people management experience leading professionals. • Experience selling to executive decision-makers in a cross-departmental capacity in the Education space. • Established relationships with district decision-makers (Superintendents, Directors of Assessment, Curriculum Directors, etc.). • Excellent phone, written, and verbal communication skills. • Well-organized with efficient time and regional territory management skills. • Team player with a positive attitude and commitment to exceeding sales objectives.
