• PeopleFun is an award-winning creator of mobile games for players across the globe. • We are part of AppLovin, a publicly traded company with world-class projects. • PeopleFun is a Dallas-based game studio founded and led by game industry veterans. • Our games are played by over 25 million players each month. • Candidates who reside or will reside in specific states are eligible for this role. • PeopleFun is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for a new casual mobile game in pre-production. • You will collaborate closely with a cross-functional team to prototype innovative game concepts. • Your work will be crucial in building early-stage prototypes to validate the game’s viability. • You will transition with the team into full production, contributing throughout the game’s lifecycle. • Work closely with engineering leadership to ensure technical excellence and alignment with project goals.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional engineering experience with the mobile gaming industry. • Demonstrated proficiency with Unity and/or other established game engines used in casual mobile game development. • Demonstrated experience in rapid prototyping and iterative development processes. • Solid understanding of game architecture, design patterns, and best practices for mobile platforms. • Prior experience collaborating cross-functionally, effectively communicating with designers, artists, game designers, product managers, and technical leadership. • Proven ability to navigate complex technical challenges. • Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts and tradeoffs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
