Description

• Directs, plans, schedules and monitors the movement of materials through the production cycle to determine required materials purchases. • Oversees the creation and maintenance of bills of material and parts/commodities numbers in supply chain management or other Enterprise wide systems. • Ensures material standards are met and non-conformances or variances are approved and/or minimized. • Monitors cost, schedule and scope of assigned subcontracts to assure best quality at best value. • Evaluates vendor reliability and develops new supply sources where vendors and suppliers are no longer competitive. • Develop and implement a global services procurement strategy aligned with the overall business strategy. • Identify and evaluate potential service providers, negotiate contracts, and establish strategic partnerships to optimize cost, quality, and performance. • Develop cost-benefit analysis which is used frequently to optimize spend. • Serve as the liaison between customer, employer, and vendors. • Calculate metrics for analysis as well as consolidate large amounts of data into concise targeted informational summaries and reports. • Manage/deliver supplier contracts within budget and hit in line with targeted savings. • Make accurate forecasts to meet customer’s demand. • Source, qualify, negotiate, and procure service contracts in support of our OneSource Enterprise asset management portfolio. • Engage in all aspects of supplier management with a focus on improving profitability and delivering customer satisfaction. • Identify appropriate service coverage for different customers or types of equipment and opportunities to expand our service platform strategy. • Conduct routine supplier meetings to develop and maintain supplier relationship. • Use data to drive decisions and provide market/competitive feedback while supporting the field organization and providing visibility and accessibility to supplier metrics, tools and processes. • Work toward standardized and consistent sourcing strategies and processes across regions. • Effectively manage the team to ensure work is completed on time, while also fostering employee development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a business or analytics related field • Equivalent of 4+ years of combined procurement, strategic development, strategic pricing, or data analytics / insights experience
