Description

•Manages multi-level roles of the Clinical Operations Planning Team globally •Drives the medium to long term direction and strategy of the Operations Planning Team •Manages overall workload and work allocation of direct reports •Ensures deliverables for the Operations Planning Team align with business objectives •Coordinates project planning and tracking related technical needs cross functionally for Study Start Up, Site Operations and Study Management in GSSO •Provides strategic leadership to represent business needs across in-house and external teams •Provides GSSO business support for technologies like Planisware and Salesforce •Responsible for representing the business needs of the GSSO department in creating/maintaining a best-in-class technological backbone for the clinical study start-up process •Provides cross-functional leadership and consultancy for clinical study start-up technologies •Responsible for providing a consultancy network to maximize the utility of clinical start-up technology ecosystem •Accountable for oversight of PFE users and CROs for compliance, status and performance •Drives a continuous improvement culture within the Operations Planning team

Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree is required •Experience managing projects, deliverables and individuals across multiple countries in a matrix setting •Minimum of 10 years experience in a large international corporation •Extensive global clinical trial/study management experience including knowledge of GCP •Demonstrated People management Experience, ability to lead and manage diverse team •Strong Organizational Skills •Strategic and Innovative Thinking •Business Acumen •Project Management Skills •Fluent in English
