Description

• The Internal Medicine Field Medical Director provides expertise for therapeutic areas • Responsible for engaging with external medical stakeholders • Plan and execute independent Medical strategies • Maintain knowledge of relevant TA/disease states and Pfizer medicines • Serve as a conduit for Medical Information and stakeholder insights • Educate external medical stakeholders based on patient care gaps • Achieve leadership-defined expectations for stakeholder engagement • Field Medical Role Responsibilities include delivering medical content • Cultivate research and therapeutic area expertise • Participate in special projects and serve on medical committees

Requirements

• MD or DO Degree required • 3 years of relevant experience required • Subject matter expert recognized across internal and external stakeholders • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Excellent interpersonal skills • Ability to manage a significant volume of projects remotely • Work within a matrixed team to foster strong relationships • Effectively manage and lead change in an evolving healthcare environment • Collaboration with peers and stakeholders
