Description

• The Digital Marketing Director will be responsible for designing and implementing data-driven marketing strategies, with a strong focus on digital advertising and funnel optimization. • This individual will oversee all marketing operations, including paid advertising campaigns, digital funnel management, and lead generation efforts. • You will manage a talented team, optimize marketing spend, and ensure the business continues to meet its growth objectives. • You are successful in this role when you have tripled their inbound call volume with qualified leads, substantially increased their social media following and subscriber base on YouTube, and facilitated the conversion of that organic following into clients. • RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to: Oversee the strategy and execution of new client acquisition from social, organic, email, and paid traffic sources. • Run our ads inside Facebook ads manager (not mandatory but very desirable as it would allow us not to have to bring on a separate media buyer). • Create promotional campaigns (and marketing assets) that drive new business (from email, social, etc…) and systemize them so we can repurpose them (if successful in the future). • Oversee and deploy their weekly email marketing with a healthy mix of content and promotion (most content will be provided by our copywriter but you should have the ability to whip up a promotional campaign when needed). • Be able to write (if needed) emails, Facebook ads, VSLs, and/or web/landing pages that connect with our audience (in our voice) and convert. • Develop clearly defined quarterly plans that help us scale our client acquisition and get the right people on board to make it happen. • Measure, analyze, and optimize digital media and prepare recommendations for improved performance. • Oversee content strategy to continue growing our YouTube channel and social media following. • Understand our messaging, philosophy, core content pillars, and our client avatar as closely as you know your own family members.

Requirements

• 7-10+ years of hands-on digital marketing experience with at least 4 years of leadership experience. • Proven track record of growing an online company’s products/programs to market (ideally service or coaching-based) beyond $10 million in revenue. • 2+ years managing and developing teams in marketing (working with media buyers, CROs, content creators, etc..) and excellent project management skills. • Full-time 100 commitment - No side gigs or other consulting work. • You must have an expert-level understanding of Facebook ads and a track record of having scaled campaigns/accounts to $500k (or more) in monthly spend - PROFITABLY - and CONSISTENTLY (not just once). • Player-coach mindset with the ability to mentor and develop junior marketers while also being able to get some of the heavy lifting done such as writing high-converting copy. • Posses the energy, focus, and willingness to work in a fast-growing culture and help our client grow beyond $50M in revenue (within 2-3 years). • IDEA MACHINE - able to create big ideas and hooks that captivate attention, generate demand, and create breakthroughs for the business. • High proficiency in creating and using spreadsheets (Google Sheets) to analyze your team’s marketing performance such as ad spend, CPMs, clicks, and conversions. • Our client is very heavily data-driven and you must be as well. • People person - able to support, coach, and get the most out of those you work with. • You can handle a high volume of work, manage pressure well, and get things done quickly with attention to detail. • Technical proficiency using Instagram, Facebook (ads), Facebook Messenger, LinkedIn, Twitter, Youtube, Gmail, Asana, Slack, Convertri, Ontraport, and Hyros. • Self-growth - you voraciously consume content (marketing and sales-related podcasts, books, courses, etc…) to help you sharpen your sword. • You have a high intolerance for “average” and working with B-players. • You want to be the best at what you do, produce the best possible work, and only work with the best people. • And you don’t shy away from having hard conversations with those who don’t meet those standards. • You’ve studied (or worked with) some of the marketing greats like Alex Hormozi, Ogilvy, Eugene Schwartz, Brian Kurtz, Frank Kern, Ryan Deiss (Digital Marketer), Perry Belcher, Dan Kennedy, Joe Polish, Russell Brunson, Ezra Firestone, Dean Jackson, etc. (if you don’t know who these people are, this isn’t the right role for you).
