Description

• As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will be on the frontlines of our sales efforts. • Connecting with key decision-makers in the tech and data industries. • Responsible for generating leads, qualifying prospects, and driving new business opportunities in a sector that’s revolutionizing how companies use their data. • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound prospecting. • Overcome objections and navigate gatekeepers to reach decision-makers. • Research accounts to identify key stakeholders and generate interest. • Craft engaging cold outreach emails and pitches. • Work closely with Account Executives to develop lead nurturing strategies. • Identify challenges in the sales funnel and provide solutions. • Conduct outbound outreach via email, LinkedIn, and phone calls to connect with executives and decision-makers in industries utilizing big data and ETL solutions. • Identify and qualify leads in the data analytics and ETL ecosystem, including big players in finance, healthcare, and retail. • Proactively research and engage with potential clients to build a robust pipeline of new business opportunities. • Maintain and update HubSpot to track progress, follow up with leads, and optimize sales performance. • Contribute to sales strategies, helping to refine outreach methods and maximize lead generation efforts.

Requirements

• 2-3+ years of experience in a BDR role, ideally within the big data, ETL, or cloud data platforms industry (experience with Snowflake or Databricks is a huge plus). • A proven track record of success in generating qualified leads and driving sales in high-tech or big-data environments. • Strong understanding of the ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) process and related tools/platforms. • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with high-level executives. • Proficient in using HubSpot or similar CRM systems to manage tasks and log calls. • Self-driven with the ability to work independently while also collaborating with a remote team. • Entrepreneurial spirit with a hunger for growth and a desire to take the next step in your career - Relentless work ethic and hustle mentality. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. • Ability to communicate effectively over the phone in English. • Driven by quotas, metrics, and continuous growth.
