📋 Description

• As a Senior Azure+AWS Network Engineer at Pierce Technology Corp, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing complex network solutions across cloud environments. • Your expertise in Azure and AWS networking will guide architectural decisions, ensuring robust and secure connectivity for our cloud-based applications. • You will lead the migration of existing on-premises networking solutions to cloud environments while optimizing performance and security within the public cloud infrastructure. • Duties include overseeing network configurations, conducting performance assessments, and diagnosing issues to provide immediate resolutions. • This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to develop scalable and secure network architectures that meet business requirements while maintaining high levels of security, resilience, and compliance.

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive experience with Azure and AWS networking services, including VPC, VNet, VPN, Direct Connect, Express Route, and associated security controls. • Strong understanding of cloud network design principles, and in-depth knowledge of routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF). • Experience with network monitoring and management tools in cloud environments. • Proficiency in implementing security best practices within cloud architecture, including identity management and network segmentation. • Ability to automate network management tasks using scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell). • Knowledge of hybrid cloud connectivity and architecture. • Relevant cloud certifications (Azure Network Engineer Associate, AWS Certified Advanced Networking - Specialty) are highly desirable. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with technical and non-technical teams. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • 5+ years of experience in network engineering, focusing on cloud environments.
