Description

• Conduct technical examinations based on customer and internal HSI and remote sensing requirements • Support planning for and execute on USG initiatives and programs where remote sensing assets and data are needed • Provide primary support for Pixxel’s government and public sector customers • Translate RFP stated problem sets into technical approach elements employed in proposals

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in remote sensing, physics, geoscience, computer science, or mathematics • At least 5+ years of relevant experience in remote sensing data analysis, image processing, and/or hyperspectral data analysis • Experience working with hyperspectral imagery • Proven experience in satellite image analysis, remote sensing, and image processing • Experience working with intelligence community or DoD or supporting efforts • Experience in analyzing a variety of use cases for space based remote sensing • Experience in imagery analysis with Python, Matlab, R, Envi/IDL, or similar • Strong written and verbal communication skills regarding HSI and use case technical topics • An active security clearance or current SBI is required • Remote Sensing and GIS certifications (e.g. USGIF, ASPRS, other training) is highly desirable
