• At Placemakr, home meets hospitality. We’ve combined the best of apartment living, vacation rentals, and hotel stays into one experience. • We partner with developers, property operators, and investors to curate a collection of apartment-like spaces in hand-picked neighborhoods. • Our tech-enabled buildings create one-of-a-kind guest experiences and add tremendous value to the underlying real estate. • Whether guests are with us for a night, a year, or somewhere in between, these are more than just spaces to spend the night — they’re a place to call home. • The Associate Director of Real Estate Platform Partnerships will be responsible for sourcing third-party managed real estate inventory. • This individual will be an integral part of accelerating our growth and will utilize their previous expertise in hospitality/multi-family real estate to expand the Placemakr portfolio. • While this is a remote position, this person must be located in the Chicago market and have the ability to travel 30%-50% of the time based on business and deal needs.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required • 3+ years of experience in multifamily and/or hotel brokerage, investment, development, or asset management with an established successful deal track record • Existing deep multifamily network in your home city is strongly preferred • Proven ability to build a large network of senior contacts • Experience in a quota-bearing or incentive-based role with an established successful deal track record • Ability to travel 30%-50% of the time based on business and deal needs • Ability to convey complex ideas simply and effectively to internal and external parties • Demonstrated ability to navigate complex and potentially lengthy sales processes and get deals to close • Self-starter mentality and a thirst to learn quickly • Unwavering attention to detail and organization • Strong business writing and communication skills • You embody our Community Norms.
