Description

• Manage and oversee SEC filings, board prep, proxy and AGM; earnings materials • Manage corporate governance and associated compliance • Maintain/update intercompany agreements • Collaborate with the legal team and company management on various special projects • Provide counsel and advice to cross-functional stakeholders for legal strategy • Advise on potential liabilities to protect legal interests in transactions • Coordinate with internal departments for legal integration into business decisions • Review communications and marketing materials for compliance • Monitor compliance with applicable laws and regulations • Act as liaison with external law firms • Train employees on legal matters to promote compliance culture • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. • 6+ years of legal experience with at least 4+ years of this experience as an attorney • Membership in at least one state bar • Superb written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills • Ability to build consensus for decisions and quickly drive to effective resolution • Experience proactively problem-solving and taking ownership over projects and responsibilities • Ability to effectively manage tight deadlines, competing demands, and multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision • Exceptional business acumen, and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse individuals at all levels of an organization • Proven leadership and customer-service focus in building relationships • Significant corporate law experience • Outstanding organizational, prioritization, and project management skills
