• Engage and qualify inbound leads using Planful’s tech stack, ensuring a seamless transition into the sales pipeline. • Conduct strategic discovery calls with prospects to identify business needs, qualify opportunities, and drive engagement, later introducing prospects to Planful Account Executive to further drive partnership. • Understand finance users’ pain points, gather key requirements, and align Planful’s solutions with their business objectives. • Collaborate with Marketing and Account Executives to optimize inbound lead conversion and develop targeted outreach strategies. This can come in the form of remote website lead generation, or in-person events. • Develop industry expertise, gaining a deep understanding of the mid-market landscape and the value Planful delivers to customers. • Consistently meet and exceed quarterly quotas of qualified pipeline/AE introductions, contributing to overall revenue growth. • Provide detailed call notes and insights to Account Executives, ensuring a smooth handoff and well-defined next steps. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer information in Salesforce to support data-driven decision-making.
• Background in marketing or education is preferred but not required— we’ve seen success with candidates from diverse fields like teaching, accounting, and retail sales. Strong relationship management skills and public speaking experience are valuable indicators of success in this role. • Driven and results-oriented, with a strong desire to grow a career in technology/SaaS sales and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance environment • Excellent communicator and team player, with strong written and verbal communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and attention to detail • Self-motivated and coachable, excelling in a remote work setting, eager to receive feedback, and proactive in managing multiple priorities effectively • Passionate about pursuing and growing a career in technology/SaaS sales • Bachelor’s Degree – Finance, Accounting, or Marketing degree is a plus • Experience with Salesforce and Outreach is a plus
