Description

• The Compliance Specialist is responsible for a full range of duties to support the Legal and Compliance department • Supports compliance projects by collecting and coordinating internal and external compliance data • Assists the Compliance team in monitoring existing partners to ensure their adherence to applicable laws, rules, regulations, and industry best practices including, but not limited to, website monitoring • Daily monitoring of company’s publishers’ domains for consent language and policing for non-compliant language • Provides administrative support by maintaining procedures and policies • Conducts research and communicates findings to Legal and Compliance team for specialized projects • Attends and documents compliance meetings, webinars, and events • Maintains storage of all compliance documents • Performs other duties as assigned by the VP, of Legal Affairs and Compliance

Requirements

• Education and/or experience equivalent to a bachelors degree in a related field • Knowledge in consumer financial regulations and/or online marketing regulations including TCPA, CAN-SPAM, UDAAP • Knowledge of GDPR is a plus • 1-3 years proven experience in a compliance role • Well-versed in legal requirements and procedures, preferable in online lead generation and/or internet marketing fields • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills in English • Proficiency with using Windows applications, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook/Gmail • Ability to work independently, or collaboratively as part of a team, and maintain cooperative working relationships • Dependable work ethics and strong time management skills with proven ability to handle multiple projects with an attention to detail • Required to be professional at all times • A dependable work ethic and commitment to providing quality service • Adaptability to changes in the work environment, competing demands, and delays or unexpected events
