• Company Overview: Plus Power is an energy storage market leader. • The Project Development Manager will own the responsibility for acquiring and de-risking projects. • Key responsibilities include site acquisition, project development, management, and contract origination. • Skills & Qualifications: 3+ years in project development and familiarity with Ontario market. • Highly competitive compensation with benefits and flexible remote work options.
🎯 Requirements
• 3+ years of experience in project development focused on renewable or traditional transmission connected generators in Ontario, PJM, MISO or ISONE. • Based in Toronto or the Greater Toronto Area. • Experience with at least one energy project in Ontario. • Familiarity with the Ontario market dynamics and the IESO. • Experience supporting full lifecycle development of a renewable energy asset or energy storage project. • Participation in an organization which has developed an energy storage project. • Experience participating in the development of or completing all of the following agreement types: • Site lease or purchase agreements. • Site Plan and Building Permit approvals. • Interconnection agreements. • Power purchase or tolling agreements. • MIPA / PSA for project disposition / acquisition. • Creative independent thinker; demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a diverse team. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment in both team and individual settings. • Must be flexible and detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills. • Travel required as necessary to support permitting activities, stakeholder meetings and other related tasks.
