📋 Description
• Develop detailed electrical designs, schematics, wiring diagrams, and system layouts for energy-related projects • Produce electrical drawings and models in AutoCAD for panel layouts and wiring schematics • Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other design team members • Follow company design and drafting standards • Revise and update designs based on engineering input, client feedback, and field changes • Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards • Assist in troubleshooting electrical design issues and recommend practical solutions • Maintain accurate and organized project documentation • Manage a design team to ensure projects are properly resourced
🎯 Requirements
• 5-10 years of experience as an Electrical Designer, with a focus on energy projects such as oil & gas, fuels, power delivery, or renewables • Proficient in AutoCAD, CADWorx, and AutoCAD Electrical for electrical design and drafting • Solid understanding of electrical design principles, including power distribution and electrical systems for energy facilities • Ability to work effectively within a team environment, demonstrate a positive attitude, and contribute to group success • Strong troubleshooting skills with a focus on producing efficient and effective design solutions • Keen attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality, accurate designs • Ability and willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, ever-evolving industry
