Description

β€’ Responsible for leading content development for multiple projects β€’ Collaborate with internal team members to create compelling content β€’ Review project briefs and timelines, assign staff, and attend all kick-off meetings β€’ Review content for scientific accuracy β€’ Ensure best practices for content development are followed β€’ Liaise directly with client on strategy and content-related subject matter β€’ Discuss medical content with external stakeholders β€’ Plan and allocate resources based on business needs β€’ Supervise 1 – 2 medical writers β€’ Establish and track individual personal development plans for each team member β€’ Assist in development of new business proposals β€’ Attend and present at business pitch meetings

Requirements

β€’ BA/BS in life sciences β€’ BA/BS in English combined with experience in a pharmaceutical agency, medical communications company or healthcare advertising β€’ Minimum 4 years of experience in the medical communication, pharmaceutical and/or healthcare industry β€’ Command of American Medical Association (AMA) style β€’ Strong proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat β€’ Strong proficiency with scientific search engines including PubMed and Google Scholar
