Description

β€’ Brings knowledge and skills to provide medical oversight and expertise to BCNC β€’ Supports value-based strategies, clinical operations and high quality care β€’ Conducts reviews of claims and appeals, resolves grievances related to medical quality β€’ Educates and interacts with network providers regarding guidelines and resource management β€’ Ensures medical decisions meet standards for acceptable medical care

Requirements

β€’ MD or DO from an accredited medical school and completion of residency training program β€’ 5+ years of experience in related field β€’ Current North Carolina medical license or willing to apply/obtain by start date β€’ Board certification in ABMS/AOA recognized clinical specialty β€’ Preferred specialties: Pain Management, Orthopedic, Family Practice
