• An Insurance Broker acts as an intermediary between insurance companies and individuals or businesses seeking insurance coverage. • Assess clients’ insurance needs, research available policies, and provide recommendations based on expertise. • Help clients understand policy terms, coverage limits, and costs. • Handle policy renewal, claims, and provide ongoing support and advice.
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in insurance, business, economics, finance or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience • 2 years of work experience in an insurance broker position • Certified Insurance Consultant (CIC) with the state of Connecticut • Eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills • Ability to travel up to 10% of time
