• Procon Consulting, a professional services firm in McLean, VA, seeks an experienced Value Engineer Specialist. • The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in the Architectural, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry. • This individual will lead value engineering studies, cost reduction initiatives, and cost estimating functions to enhance project performance.
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. • Professional registration as a licensed engineer (PE) or architect (AIA). • Society of American Value Engineers (SAVE) Certified Value Specialist (CVS) certification. • Minimum of 10 years of experience in value engineering, cost estimating, or related roles within the AEC industry. • Proven experience leading value engineering workshops and developing cost-effective project solutions. • Strong analytical and cost-estimating skills, with the ability to assess project designs and costs effectively. • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage clients and stakeholders. • Familiarity with project management tools and software.
