Description

β€’ ProducePay is transforming the global fresh produce industry through its platform connecting farmers and buyers. β€’ Seeking a Director of North America Sales to lead and expand strategic partnerships. β€’ Drive growth and revenue for U.S.-based enterprise accounts. β€’ Manage multiple enterprise accounts and drive new product distribution.

Requirements

β€’ 10-15 years of proven success in selling fresh produce programs to enterprise customers such as food retailers, food manufacturers, food processors, or food wholesalers, including international, national, or multi-state accounts. β€’ Experience managing multiple fresh produce commodities sourced from diverse growing regions. β€’ Strong track record in long sales cycles, with success in cultivating and securing major accounts. β€’ Deep understanding of fresh market dynamics, including supply and demand, consumption trends, and capital investment patterns. β€’ High-energy, results-driven leader with a strong work ethic and the ability to work collaboratively across teams. β€’ Preferred but not required: experience in a purchasing or operations role at a distributor, wholesaler, or large retailer. β€’ Ideal but not required: experience in both the retail and food-service sectors. β€’ Demonstrated achievements in sales growth, market share expansion, profitability improvement, innovation, and effective bottom-line management. β€’ Strategic thinker with a solid understanding of consumer markets and thought leadership skills. β€’ Established network of relationships within the fresh produce industry. β€’ Proven ability to sell new products and programs. β€’ Data-driven mindset. β€’ Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
