β€’ Profitero is inviting a Cloud Platform Engineer to join our product team β€’ Creating a next-generation eCommerce intelligence service for retailers and manufacturers β€’ Be part of the Engineering team responsible for developing and maintaining the SaaS platform end-to-end β€’ Participation in split huge monolith to microservices β€’ Create complex deployment architectures on GCP(feature, pre-prod, production) β€’ Collaboration with developers to create the best approaches β€’ DevOps teams coaching β€’ Creation/Implementation of design database migrations β€’ Creation/Implementation design of deployment rollbacks β€’ Creation/Implementation of ways for reducing cost of infrastructure, and time to market

Requirements

β€’ Proficient in core Google Cloud services and understanding of GCP best practices β€’ Strong experience in working with and administering Argo CD β€’ Proficient in working with Terraform modules and resources for scalable infrastructure β€’ Extensive experience with Docker and Kubernetes β€’ Knowledge of GitOps practices and workflows to streamline CI/CD processes β€’ Experience with Linux β€’ Extensive experience working with logging and monitoring/alerting (Stackdriver, Grafana, ELK Stack, Prometheus) β€’ Experience in the implementation of Kafka, RabbitMQ, and tuning for high-throughput environments β€’ Understanding of microservices architecture β€’ Working experience in an Agile environment β€’ English B2 β€’ Nice to have: Familiarity with scripting languages (Bash, Python, or Go) for automation β€’ Knowledge of security practices, including secrets management and data encryption β€’ Experience with configuration management systems (Ansible) β€’ Experience with the administration of large-scale relational databases and data warehouses β€’ Understanding of cloud networking architecture
