Description

• Truepic is looking for a Cloud Engineer to support, maintain, and scale our cloud environments and development pipelines. • You’ll contribute to the design, development, testing and deployment of our Vision application, Lens SDK and CLI, PKI, and suite of image analysis and processing tools. • You’ll build and deploy processes for automation while helping to evolve internal tools and systems to achieve operational efficiency. • Responsibilities include deploying and maintaining applications, managing CI/CD processes, optimizing cloud expenditure, and ensuring security compliance. • The role requires effective collaboration with a diverse team of engineers.

Requirements

• Experience designing, maintaining and deploying highly-available, fault-tolerant systems at scale • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tooling such as Terraform and Cloudformation • Experience with containers and Linux operating systems • Full understanding of software development lifecycle best practices • High level of expertise working with AWS • Version control system experience (e.g. Github) • Familiarity with continuous integration tools such as Jenkins, Travis CI, Circle CI • Proficiency in scripting languages including, bash, Javascript, and Python • Understanding of observability tools (Pagerduty, CloudWatch, Datadog, etc) • Strong communication and documentation skills • Ability to drive to goals and milestones while maintaining a strong attention to detail • Excellent judgment, analytical thinking and problem solving skills • Relentless security-first mindset.
