📋 Description

• As the Controller at Prompt, you will play a crucial role in supporting our finance department by managing various financial and administrative tasks across multiple organizations. • Work closely with the Finance Department and Chief Financial Officer to ensure the smooth operation of our internal and external financial processes, contributing to the overall success and efficiency of the company.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field • Master’s in Accounting/MBA/CPA Certification preferred • At least 3-5 years of experience in a Controller position • Experience in private sector accounting including leading teams • Demonstrated understanding of G.A.A.P., financial statements, tax compliance, etc. • Experience leading external financial audits • Working understanding of QuickBooks or related accounting software • Proficiency in corporate tax compliance, tax provisions, and financial reporting • Strong understanding of federal, state, and local corporate tax laws and regulations • Exposure to multi-state and/or international tax • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Google Suite skills • Strong analytical, quantitative, attention to detail and organizational skills • Developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at the executive level • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines • Experience in managing diverse teams, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously • Experience working in hybrid situations • Willingness to travel to HQ
