Description

• The Director of Finance plays a key role in helping leading venture-stage firms build their businesses by providing in-depth financial and analytical guidance • This person will operate with a high level of independence and will be accountable for client success from an accounting, finance and customer service perspective • This senior finance professional is responsible for managing client deliverables and priorities with strategic support from VP/CFO • This is an excellent opportunity to learn the complexities and interdependencies of early-stage, high-growth companies across a variety of industries: E-commerce, Technology, CPG and Professional services

Requirements

• 8+ years in finance-focused roles • BA in Finance, Accounting or Economics • Solid experience in firms’ business operations and ability to set up systems and processes to ensure firm-wide controls • Superior financial modeling and presentation skills • Comfort with data and ambiguity, and an ability to delve into details and adapt priorities on the fly • Good communication skills with the ability to distill complex thoughts and strategies into simple, actionable recommendations to Propeller team as well as our clients • Highly organized with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple client workstreams and respond to ad-hoc requests to support business decisions in timely and efficient manner • Ability and desire to teach others within the organization to help grow the broader internal FP&A skill set • Deep understanding of the workings of the SaaS or Tech industries
