📋 Description

• The Director of Finance plays a key role in helping leading venture-stage firms build their businesses • providing in-depth financial and analytical guidance • accountable for client success from an accounting • finance and customer service perspective • managing client deliverables and priorities with strategic support from VP/CFO • opportunity to learn the complexities and interdependencies of early-stage companies • guide all close calls combining experience in accounting with expertise in forecasting and modeling • lead and direct fundraising (equity/debt) due diligence process • serve as trusted advisor to client for all FP&A and accounting issues • assess and review 409A valuations • present Board materials to client management and Board members

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in finance-focused roles • BA in Finance • Accounting or Economics • Solid experience in firms’ business operations and ability to set up systems • processes to ensure firm-wide controls • Superior financial modeling and presentation skills • Comfort with data and ambiguity • Good communication skills with the ability to distill complex thoughts and strategies • Highly organized with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple client workstreams • Ability and desire to teach others within the organization to help grow the broader internal FP&A skill set • Deep understanding of the workings of the E-Comm and CPG Industry
