• The Financial Coordinator is part of a team who handles direct interaction with patients and families. • Providing financial insurance and payment information. • Educating patients on various sponsorship programs available to them. • Liaison to the PBO/RBO and the sponsoring hospital.

Requirements

• 3 years of experience in a Business Office, preferably in a financial/billing position. • Experience with medical and health plan terminology, CPT codes, ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding. • Coursework/Training and College coursework preferred. • Experience with medical specialty preferred.
