Description

• This position will provide personal financial counseling services to military service members and families • Responsibilities include one-on-one counseling, conducting briefings, and providing referral resources • Coordinates and provides Personal Financial Management classes/workshops • Works closely with military branches and Points of Contact

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required • May consider associate degree plus 4 years' experience in lieu of bachelor's degree • May consider high school diploma plus 6 years' experience in lieu of bachelor's degree • Must have one of the following certifications: Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), or Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) • Must be a U.S. citizen and speak fluent English • If required by the contract, must be bilingual in English and Spanish • Must have over a thousand hours of financial counseling experience
