Description

• We are looking for a passionate Director of Technical Documentation to educate Pulumi’s rapidly growing community on infrastructure as code best practices and how best to maximize use of the Pulumi platform to achieve success in building modern cloud infrastructure. • In this role, you will play a vital role in getting our customers up and running quickly and making sure that they are able to scale and standardize their use of our products. • You have both a demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality technical publications, and a technical background that enables you to work cross-functionally with software engineers, product managers, and technical pre- and post-sales teams. • You will be leading Pulumi’s documentation efforts, and coordinating all documentation across our open source and commercial product lines. • While Pulumi is headquartered in Seattle, WA., we are dedicated to being a remote first company. This role can be located remotely in the United States or EMEA area.

Requirements

• 3+ years in a software development environment. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent a plus. • Experience building and managing a team • Demonstrable experience with technical writing for cloud and/or devops products, preferably in a start-up environment. • Familiarity with the content and voice needed to engage with the Open Source developer community. • Experience in one or more of the following technologies a plus: • Languages: Go, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or C#. • Cloud Platforms: Docker, Kubernetes, Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform.
