Description

• Qodea is the largest Google Cloud-only digital consultancy in Europe, looking for passionate talent. • Join talented GCP Engineering teams, taking ownership of tasks in cloud technology. • Exposure to technologies, assess customer requirements, contribute to projects from concept to support. • Work on innovative projects utilizing Google Cloud Platform. • Understand customer systems and re-architect on GCP. • Translate requirements into technical designs for delivery. • Contribute to building global and cloud-native platforms. • Apply modern software methodologies and mentor junior team members. • Proactive in drive towards social progress and positive impacts.

Requirements

• Commercial experience programming in Java and Spring Boot and at least one other language; for example: Javascript / Typescript / NodeJS, SC, Go, C#. • Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (GCP, AWS, Azure), including the use of their data related components to build solutions. • An understanding of modern software patterns and methodologies such as Twelve-Factor, Progressive Apps, Single Page Apps, Observables, etc. • Happy writing queries against common Databases be it MySQL, PostgreSQL etc. • Comfortable developing with Docker. • Experience in using unit testing and CI / CD and following TDD best-practice (utilising frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito etc) • Experience building, consuming and integrating with REST APIs. • Confident communicator both written and verbally. • SC clearance will be required, you will need to be eligible
