Description

• The Product Manager reports into the Director of Product on our Platform team. • Act as Product Manager for Data Product Teams, taking services and features from concept to production launch. • Strong communicator, engaging cross-functional teams with a passion for machine learning and big data. • Balance understanding of our target customers with a data-driven approach to decision making. • Collaborate with engineering, data science, insurance leads, and product owners on requirements. • Manage scope, balance trade-offs, define goals, set priorities, and oversee a backlog of features. • Lead your team via both Agile Scrum and Kanban methodologies. • Facilitate development efforts, timelines, deliverables with other product owners.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. • Eight or more years experience in a similar/complementary role for a cloud-based or software-as-a-service product line. • Experience working in an Agile Scrum or Kanban environment as a Product Manager. • Comfortable with a distributed multi-stakeholder environment. • Strong understanding of software development in at least two specified areas. • Strong technical understanding of data engineering/data analytics fundamentals. • High degree of analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Proficient in all things Atlassian - most notably Jira & Confluence. • Bonus: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or other related field.
