📋 Description

• Oversee the design, architecture, and optimization of SCADA databases, ensuring scalability, reliability, and efficiency. • Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for SCADA database management and system integration in alignment with organizational objectives. • Lead efforts in troubleshooting and resolving critical issues in SCADA systems, providing expert guidance to the team. • Implement advanced data validation processes and governance protocols to maintain data integrity and quality. • Monitor system performance and lead initiatives to enhance database efficiency and operational resilience. • Design and implement complex stored procedures and automation processes for SCADA data handling and reporting. • Provide strategic insights through advanced data analysis and reporting, supporting executive decision-making. • Serve as the primary liaison between SCADA operations and other departments, ensuring seamless collaboration and data integration. • Lead the planning and execution of system enhancements, upgrades, and compliance initiatives. • Establish best practices and standards for database management, documentation, and troubleshooting. • Mentor and train team members, fostering skill development and promoting a culture of continuous improvement. • Represent the organization in external discussions with vendors, clients, and industry stakeholders. • Drive innovation by researching and implementing emerging technologies to enhance SCADA operations.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, with 6+ years of experience in a similar role. • Expert-level knowledge of SCADA systems, databases, and time series data. • Advanced proficiency in database management systems (DBMS) such as Microsoft SQL, MySQL, or similar. • Strong expertise in database architecture, performance tuning, and stored procedure development. • Extensive experience in database design, system integration, and large-scale data handling. • Proven leadership and team management experience. • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities. • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
