Description

• Health insurers in the US healthcare system have too much power. • We are on a David vs. Goliath style mission to counteract that. • Looking for an all-star engineer excited to solve hard technical problems. • Joining a close-knit, collaborative team with creative autonomy and ownership. • Work full stack across our products, taking advantage of AI/ML technologies. • Lead technical projects from inception through launch and iteration. • Review the team’s code, provide feedback and foster a collaborative culture.

Requirements

• Live and breathe Python including API frameworks such as FastAPI • Strong understanding of databases like MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or similar • Familiarity with streaming / queue-based infrastructure including Kafka or Pub/Sub • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud • Proficiency in designing and developing RESTful APIs • Proficiency in writing unit tests, integration tests, and using testing frameworks like pytest. • Knowledge of web security standards and best practices, including data encryption, authentication, and authorization mechanisms. • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and continuous integration tools such as Jenkins, Github Workflows • Experience working in a startup or fast-paced environment • Experience with ElasticSearch, Spark, or Airflow • Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts • Experience with React and TypeScript, including frameworks like Next.js, and testing frameworks such as Vitest and Cypress • Experience with healthcare data and industry standards
