Description

• Process bi-monthly payroll for multiple property locations and corporate employees, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines. • Maintain and update payroll records, employee deductions, and related payroll data. • Handle payroll inquiries, including resolving discrepancies and providing exceptional customer service to employees. • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations. • Prepare and analyze payroll reports, including labor cost analysis and payroll variance reports. • Conduct regular payroll audits to verify compliance and accuracy of payroll data. • Assist in the reconciliation of payroll-related accounts and prepare necessary journal entries. • During non-payroll periods, serve as a corporate accountant by assisting with month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and financial reporting. • Supporting the finance team with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. • Collaborating on various accounting projects as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. • 3+ years of payroll accounting experience; property management experience preferred. • Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paylocity, or similar) and accounting software. • Strong understanding of payroll processes, regulations, and best practices. • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines. • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with HR, Finance, and employees. • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
